Status: offline 		Did anyone make it to the Severn Bore this week - supposed to be quite good.  I've already booked a day's holiday for the 2nd March but did anyone make this one?

Status: offline 		Yeah corndog and I went down tues morning - was pretty good, about 15 other people in and got a nice ride in at arlingham! Few other guys got really long rides at epney too. Hope its good for you in March! I can't make that one but corndog will more than likey be there too

I went with ol' Corndog last year - really gutted I missed the Feb bore, but definitely looking forward to March's.

Have you done it before - and how far did you manage to surf?

Yep will def be on at least one of the tides in March, will be good to see you there I'll find some pics of this months tides for ya.

Status: offline 		Took mainly video on Corndog's camera but it wasn't glassy like it was on the monday. Was standing for probably around a minute so didn't travel far at all really, but felt like ages after the 5-10 sec rides you usually get at the beach! Had tried it a coupla times before but the wave had never been big enough to catch it. Did u get a ride last year?

Status: offline 		Got a ride last year - I'd say 20 or so people in the water but only about 6 or 7 of us actually caught the wave. It was pretty clear last year.
Didn't get as far as the paddleboarder though - I was dry and getting into my van when he just got back to the car park!
