Dave, you have way too much time on your hands mate but so do I some days (not nearly often enough though) From the same site, this struck a chord...both the skating/surfing crossover and particularly the Spanish/Portuguese language comment. After swapping back and forth between poor Spanish, Portuguese and Italian (and going back to French every now and then too) so much over the past couple of years, I can totally relate to this. http://www.surftwisted.com/does-skating-help/ Peniche area is particularly bad for this as you end up trying to understand/speak a little of all these languages and a few more. Owain threw in Welsh into the mix one morning after we had just had a little Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and German (there was Norwegian too, but Skol is about my limit with that)...wouldn't be so bad if I could speak at least one of them properly, but after a night out with O I struggle with basic English the next morning. My brain started to bleed. Also the not being young, made of rubber and every moment in the water being precious comment in relation to the skateboarding strikes a chord for some reason, feel my pain Dave? Now then, back to that rabbit! Rog
