I've booked a pitch at Churchtown Farm, Gwithan (near. St. Ives) for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. And so have a few others from BSC. This fits in with Ric's suggestion for Gwithian weekend in April.
The campsite website is: http://www.churchtownfarm.org.uk
If you speak to Mrs James and say that you're from Bristol Surf Club she will try to put us in the same area of the campsite.
It is a fantastic campsite, within walking distance of the beach over the dunes. There is a great pub (http://www.gwithian.org.uk/red_river_inn.htm) in the village and a swanky cocktail bar a little walk down the road (http://www.sandsifter.eu).
I hope you can make it.

Shame about the Sand Sifter... that said it will save me breaking a leg whilst staggering down that dark lane after a few!

Aint actually filled in my calendar but think I'm @ a VW fest in Plymouth that wkend Doubt I'll pop down, bit far. Prob surf Polzeath at some point tho!
Thats a real bummer bout Sandshifter, it's a gr8 venue both day and night plus they sell the ultimate flapjack!

just a quick message to let all you guys know that the sandsifter will re-open in early april under new management, it has undergone some minor changes and some major changes we hope you like it!!..........in addition to this we have some great events planned for this summer and we all know its gonna be a good one!!!! look forward to seeing you all down there ...........we will keep you all posted as to dates and events ect.

In there like swimwear.
Booked a couple of weeks ago, probably going down on the Friday morning, til Monday. Have a space in car, will accept co-pilots who will make a flask of hot coffee, help me with erection (of tent) and engage in amusing conversation or bring good music. Oh, and you can buy me a beer or two. Other than that, FOC.

Sal I may be in need of a lift, I'm not sure, I spoke to Jo a couple of thurs ago and I seem o remember she may have space but I was pretty steaming at the time and I can't remember so may need to sort it out the Thurs when I more sober.

Hey Woody,
Just said to Sharon she can be co driver. Was just going to put boards in car with the back seats down, but I do have soft racks, so although I don't like them, I can use them, just for you! No driving my car on the beach though.......I got my EYES ON YOU!

I'm also in need of a lift to Gwithian if anyone is looking for passengers. Happy to go on the Thursday afternoon/evening or Friday morning. I'll definitely be at the Pump House this Thursday.

Right booked a pitch - we have space in the car and are going down on Thursday night returning on Monday some time. If anyone is struggling we do have a spare 3 man tent also. Not sure how often will be on here so my number is 07971 363 087
